Resistance (Voyager Episode)
"Resistance" is the 28th episode of '' Star Trek: Voyager'', and the 12th episode in the second season. It is one installment of a Star Trek television show that aired on the United Paramount Network in November 1995. With a teleplay Lisa Klink and story by Michael Jan Friedman and Kevin J. Ryan, the science fiction story involves the encounter of a space ship stranded on the other side of the galaxy, the USS Voyager, dealing with an alien planet. Starship Captain Kathryn Janeway must rescue Tuvok and B'Elanna Torres from an alien prison. It was directed by Winrich Kolbe. The episode aired on UPN on November 27, 1995. Plot During an away mission, Tuvok and B'Elanna Torres are captured and imprisoned while attempting to obtain a chemical vital to ''Voyager''s systems. B'Elanna Torres
B'Elanna Torres is a main character in ''Star Trek: Voyager'' played by Roxann Dawson. She is portrayed as a half-human half-Klingon born in 2346 on the Federation colony Kessik IV. She was admitted to Starfleet academy but dropped out before graduating. Torres joined the Maquis (Star Trek), Maquis in 2370 and was serving on the ''Val Jean'' when taken to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker alien using his station. After being used for medical experiments, she was left in an Ocampa colony maintained by the same alien that had abducted the ''Val Jean''. Nielsen Media Research (NMR) is an American firm that measures media audiences, including television, radio, theatre, films (via the AMC Theatres MAP program), and newspapers. ''Cabaret'' is a 1966 musical theatre, musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Joe Masteroff. The Academy Awards, better known as the Oscars, are awards for artistic and technical merit for the American and international film industry. Tony Award
The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, more commonly known as the Tony Award, recognizes excellence in live Broadway theatre. The awards are presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League at an annual ceremony in Midtown Manhattan. The awards are given for Broadway productions and performances. Katherine Kiernan Maria Mulgrew (born April 29, 1955) is an American actress and author. She is best known for her roles as Captain Kathryn Janeway on '' Star Trek: Voyager'' and Red on '' Orange Is the New Black''. Neelix () is a character in the science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', played by actor Ethan Phillips since the series' inception. Neelix is an alien native to the distant far side of the galaxy, who has joined the crew of the United Federation of Planets starship USS ''Voyager'' as a cook, morale officer and later as ambassador after its being captured by a mysterious shock wave to the Delta Quadrant. Casting Neelix was played by actor Ethan Phillips. Phillips had a master's degree in fine arts from Cornell University, and had his start in acting performing on Broadway shows. Tuvok
Tuvok is a fictional character in the ''Star Trek'' media franchise. One of the main characters on the television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', Tuvok is a member of the fictional Vulcan species who serves as the ship's second officer, Chief of Security, and Chief Tactical Officer. Tim Russ portrayed Tuvok throughout the show's run from 1995 to 2001, and has also been involved in subsequent portrayals.
