Republika (Macedonian Newspaper)
''Republika'' is a weekly newspaper from North Macedonia. Publishing began in 2012. In 2017, the print edition was shut down due to financial problems, but the publication has continued online. The magazine is reported to be supportive of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski of the VMRO-DPMNE party and to be owned by a company linked to Peter Schatz, a Hungarian media tycoon closely allied with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, similar to TV station Alfa TV. It has been criticized by the civic fact-checking organization ''F2N2'' for unverified sensationalist articles that promoted conspiracies involving Gruevski's rival, Zoran Zaev. As well as George Soros who is disliked by the Viktor Orban regime. Skopje

The territory of Skopje has been inhabited since at least 4000 BC; remains of Neolithic settlements have been found within the old Kale Fortress that overlooks the modern city centre. Nikola Gruevski
Nikola Gruevski ( mk, Никола Груевски, pronounced ; hu, Nikola Gruevszki; born 31 August 1970) is a Macedonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Macedonia from 2006 until his resignation, which was caused by the 2016 Macedonian protests, and led the VMRO-DPMNE party from 2004 to 2017. Under the Pržino Agreement mediated by the European Union, Gruevski agreed to resign and left his post on 18 January 2016. In May 2018 he was sentenced to two years in prison on corruption charges. In November 2018 he was ordered to serve his sentence but failed to check-in with authorities and instead fled to Hungary, where he sought and was granted political asylum. Alfa TV () is a privately owned TV station in North Macedonia. Its headquarters is in Skopje, and the program director until 2018 was Ljubomir Nikolovski. Since 2018, the director is Vasko Eftov. The station is considered to be supportive of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski of the VMRO-DPMNE party and to be majority-owned by Peter Schatz, a Hungarian media tycoon closely allied with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Zoran Zaev
Zoran Zaev ( mk, Зоран Заев, ; born 8 October 1974) is a Macedonian economist and politician who served as prime minister of North Macedonia from May 2017 to January 2020, and again from August 2020 to January 2022. Prior to entering politics, he ran a private business in his hometown of Strumica. In the period 2003–2005, he was a Member of the Parliament of Macedonia, and then he ran for mayor of Strumica Municipality, a position he held for three terms, between 2005 and 2016.
