Repossessed (film)
''Repossessed'' is a 1990 American comedy film that parodies the 1973 horror film, ''The Exorcist''. It was written and directed by Bob Logan. The film features the original star of ''The Exorcist'', Linda Blair, as well as Leslie Nielsen and Anthony Starke. Many gags parodied events in ''The Exorcist'', such as the green-vomit and head-spinning scenes, and real-life events such as the televangelist scandals of the 1980s Plot In 1973, Father Jebediah Mayii casts out the devil from the body of young Nancy Aglet. In 1990, Nancy's body is possessed once again, while watching ''The Ernest and Fanny Miracle Hour'', a prosperity gospel broadcast by two hucksters. After a visit to the hospital, and a visit from Father Luke Brophy, Brophy concludes that Nancy is indeed possessed. Bob Logan, also known as Bobby Logan, is an American film and television producer, writer and film director. His productions include '' Repossessed'', ''Meatballs 4'', ''Up Your Alley'' and ''Yard Sale''. Prior to working in feature films and television, Logan wrote comedy material for comics including: Joan Rivers, Garry Shandling, Rodney Dangerfield, Sam Kinison, and Arsenio Hall. Pantomime Horse
A pantomime horse is a theatrical representation of a horse or other quadruped by two actors in a single costume who cooperate and synchronize their movements. One actor plays the front end, including the horse's head and its front legs, in a more-or-less upright posture and with a reasonable field of view afforded by eye holes in the horse's head. The other actor, playing the rear end of the animal, must bend at the waist so that his torso is horizontal like that of a horse and put his arms around the waist of the first actor. He can see little, although there are normally eye holes in the bottom part of the horse's torso to enable him to see where he is putting his feet and to enable him to breathe. Armand Andre Archerd (January 13, 1922 – September 8, 2009) was an American columnist for ''Variety'' for over fifty years before retiring his "Just for Variety" column in September 2005.
