Replica Redux
Replica Redux is a 2012 extended version of the cult copy store comedy Replica, directed by Raymond Scott Daigle, which was originally released in 2008. Unlike the myriad festival cuts of the film, Replica Redux is nearly twice the running time at nearly 30 minutes. The movie adds 16 minutes of all-new material, and represents a significant re-edit of the original which follows the night-in-the-lives of several "graveyard-shift workers at a Kinko's-type copy shop." Raymond Scott Daigle is an American filmmaker. Among other films, he directed the cult copy store comedy Replica Redux. He also has directed dozens of short films and documentaries, often in collaboration with Daedalus Howell Daedalus Howell (born July 19, 1972), is an American writer, journalist, filmmaker, actor and conceptual artist who lives and works in Petaluma, California. He wrote the novels '' Quantum Deadline'' and ''The Late Projectionist'' and the essay .... Daigle is the founder of Daigle Digital, a San Francisco Bay Area production company. Daigle re-released Replica in its "redux" version on YouTube in 2012. It follows a night-in-the-lives of several copy store employees. Daedalus Howell (born July 19, 1972), is an American writer, journalist, filmmaker, actor and conceptual artist who lives and works in Petaluma, California. He wrote the novels '' Quantum Deadline'' and ''The Late Projectionist'' and the essay collection ''I Heart Sonoma: How to Live and Drink in Wine Country''. He is the writer-director of the feature film '' Pill Head.'' He hosted the podcast ''Daedalus Howell: Night School of the Mind'' and The Morning Show on KSVY 91.3 FM, Sonoma. Since 2019, he's served as the editor of the North Bay Bohemian and the Pacific Sun newspapers. Early life Howell was born in Sonoma County, California. He left Petaluma High School in 1988 via the California High School Proficiency Exam following a suspension from performing a staged adaptation of ''Dr. Strangelove'' (he would have graduated as part of the class of 1990). Josh Staples
The Velvet Teen is an American independent rock trio from Sonoma County, California. History The Velvet Teen is originally the name of Judah Nagler's electronic solo project, whose official debut was made during a brief Icelandic tour that began on New Year's Eve, 1999. In 2000, during which Nagler and Logan Whitehurst were members of the band Little Tin Frog, the two began meeting in secret to write songs together under the moniker, 'The Secret Band.' When Little Tin Frog disbanded later that year, Nagler and Whitehurst continued their project and adopted Nagler's solo title, The Velvet Teen. They recorded and released ''Comasynthesis,'' a 6-song EP. In 2001, they were joined by bassist/vocalist Josh Staples and recorded their second EP, ''The Great Beast February.'' The Velvet Teen signed to Slowdance Records, an independent record label from Portland, OR.
