René Joensen
René Shaki Joensen (born 8 February 1993) is a Faroese international association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag, KÍ. Club career Joensen started his professional career with Brøndby IF, Brøndby in Denmark. He did not appear in any matches for his team since his Danish Superliga debut in the 2011–12 season. In January 2014, he returned to the Faroe Islands to play for HB Tórshavn. On 6 December 2021, Joensen signed a one-year contract with Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag, KÍ, starting 1 January 2022. Tórshavn
Tórshavn (; lit. "Thor's harbour"), usually locally referred to as simply ''Havn'', is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. It is located in the southern part on the east coast of Streymoy. To the northwest of the city lies the mountain Húsareyn, and to the southwest, the Kirkjubøreyn. They are separated by the Sandá River. The city itself has a population of 13,957 (2022), and the greater urban area has a population of 21,078, including the suburbs of Hoyvik and Argir. The Norse (Scandinavians) established their parliament on the Tinganes peninsula in AD 850. Tórshavn thus became the capital of the Faroe Islands and has remained so ever since. Early on, Tórshavn became the centre of the islands' trade monopoly, thereby being the only legal place for the islanders to sell and buy goods. 2018–19 UEFA Nations League D
The 2018–19 UEFA Nations League D was the fourth and lowest division of the 2018–19 edition of the UEFA Nations League, the inaugural season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA. Format League D consisted of the lowest 16 UEFA members ranked from 40–55, who were split into four groups of four. The top two teams of each group, as well as the best ranked third-place team, were promoted to the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League C. In addition, League D was allocated one of the four remaining UEFA Euro 2020 places. Four teams from League D which had not already qualified for the European Championship finals competed in the play-offs for each division, which were played in October and November 2020. Grindavík Men's Football Players
Grindavík () is a fishing town on the Southern Peninsula of Iceland not far from the tuya Þorbjörn. It is one of the few cities with a harbour on this coast. Vendsyssel () is the northernmost traditional district of Denmark and of Jutland. Being divided from mainland Jutland by the Limfjord, it is technically a part of the North Jutlandic Island, but the name often used informally for the entire island.
