René Gründer
René Gründer (born 1975) is a German sociologist. Career René Gründer was born in 1975 in Zittau. He completed his doctorate at the University of Freiburg in 2010. Since 2013 he is professor of social work at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Heidenheim. He has written about new religious movements, especially Germanic neopaganism Heathenry, also termed Heathenism, contemporary Germanic Paganism, or Germanic Neopaganism, is a modern Pagan religion. A new religious movement (NRM), also known as alternative spirituality or a new religion, is a religious or spiritual group that has modern origins and is peripheral to its society's dominant religious culture. Heathenry, also termed Heathenism, contemporary Germanic Paganism, or Germanic Neopaganism, is a modern Pagan religion. Scholars of religious studies classify it as a new religious movement.
