Murgod/Murugodu is a village in the southern state of Karnataka in India.Village code= 107400 It is located in the Savadatti taluk of Belagavi district in Karnataka, 491 km from the capital Bengaluru and 54 km from district headquarters Belagavi. Savadatti is one of the oldest towns in Belagavi district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is a celebrated pilgrimage centre located 78 kilometres from Belagavi and 41 kilometres from Dharwad.
