Renovation Rescue
''Renovation Rescue'' is an Australian home renovation television series which screened on the Nine Network in 2004. It was loosely based on the American television series '' Extreme Makeover: Home Edition'', with some differences such as time and the extent of renovation. ''Renovation Rescue'' featured a group of tradespeople renovating a house in just two days. It was hosted by Rebecca Harris, Scott Cam and Peter Everett. Nine Network
The Nine Network (stylised 9Network, commonly known as Channel Nine or simply Nine) is an Australian commercial free-to-air television network. It is owned by parent company Nine Entertainment and is one of five main free-to-air television networks in Australia. From 2017 to 2021, the network's slogan has been "We Are the One". Since 2021, the network has changed its slogan back to the iconic Golden Era slogan "Still the One". A home, or domicile, is a space used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for one or many humans, and sometimes various companion animals. It is a fully or semi sheltered space and can have both interior and exterior aspects to it. Rebecca Harris
Elizabeth Rebecca Scott Harris (born 22 December 1967) is a British Conservative Party politician who was elected at the 2010 general election as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Castle Point. She is the incumbent Comptroller of the Household. Education Harris was born in Windsor, Berkshire and was educated at the Hampshire independent boarding school Bedales. Scott Cam
Scott Cam (born 24 November 1962) is an Australian television presenter, a recipient of the Gold Logie appearing on several lifestyle programmes on the Nine Network. He is best known as the host of the hit reality TV renovation show '' The Block''. Career Cam first appeared on Nine's popular lifestyle show ''Backyard Blitz'' in 2000, alongside Jamie Durie, doing building segments until the show's cancellation in 2006. In between, he appeared on the successful ''Renovation Rescue'' (2004–present) before appearing in his own live lifestyle program '' Our Place''. Peter Everett is an Australian television host. He is probably best known for hosting the Australian adaptation of cook show ''Ready Steady Cook'', which aired on Network Ten. He is known for appearing on '' Changing Rooms'' which aired on the Nine Network in the late 1990s. Backyard Blitz
''Backyard Blitz'' is a Logie Award winning Australian lifestyle and DIY television program that aired on the Nine Network between 2000 through to 2007 before its cancellation. It was hosted by Jamie Durie and was created by Don Burke and produced by his CTC Productions team. Overview The show featured a very similar premise to the show ''Ground Force'', in which a team of gardeners employed by the show descend on a supposedly worthy individual's place and improve the garden for the cameras within a specified time limit. This similarity led to legal action being taken by the rival Seven Network, which at the time was set to debut an Australian version of ''Ground Force''. Seven ultimately lost its claim as Don Burke's CTC was able to argue that Burke's previous program ''Burke's Backyard'' had featured backyard garden renovations which they claimed naturally morphed into the ''Backyard Blitz'' concept.
