Reno High School
Reno High School (RHS) is a public secondary school in Reno, Nevada, United States. It is a part of the Washoe County School District. The school's teams are known as the Reno Huskies, and the school colors are red and blue. History Reno High was the first high school in Reno, which is celebrated by its slogan: "Reno High - Older than Reno". High school students in Reno in the 1860s were originally taught in the basement of a building on the corner of First and Virginia Streets, on the future site of the Mapes Hotel. Today there is a city plaza at that location, which is across the street from the Reno City Hall. In 1869 High school students were moved to a one-room school. In 1879, due to Reno's expanding population, a larger high school, called "Central School," was built near Arlington and Fourth Streets. Joshua Robert Barrett (born November 22, 1984) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State. Early years Barrett was born in Reno, Nevada. He played high school football, basketball, and one year of baseball at Reno High School. Massimo Manca (born March 18, 1964) is a former Italian-born American football kicker in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals. He also was a member of the Barcelona Dragons in the World League of American Football. He played college football at Penn State University. Garrett Reese Hampson (born October 10, 1994) is an American professional baseball center fielder and second baseman in the Miami Marlins organization. Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps (June 2, 1882 – February 11, 1969) was an American architect. He was one of Nevada's most prolific architects, yet is notable for entering the architectural profession with no extensive formal training. He has also been known as Frederick J.
