Renier Botha (born 28 September 1992) is a South African professional rugby union player who last played for in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. His regular position is scrum-half. Career Youth and Varsity rugby After playing high school rugby with Kimberley-based Diamantveld High School, Botha was included in the squad for the 2010 Under-18 Craven Week tournament in Welkom. He also made one appearance for the side in the Under-19 provincial championships. Botha went to the University of the Free State, playing club rugby for them and making their Varsity Cup squad for the 2013 Varsity Cup. He made four starts for the side, scoring one try against the . Towards the end of the season, Botha also made three appearances for former side in the 2013 Under-21 Provincial Championship competition, playing as a centre. Renier Point () is a narrow point forming the east extremity of both Burgas Peninsula and Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The feature was known to sealers as Point Renier as early as 1821. Yannick Renier (born 29 March 1975) is a Belgian actor who started his career in the theatre in the 1990s and has since appeared in several films and television productions. Life and career Renier trained at the Conservatoire Royal in Brussels and started his professional acting career in 1995, appearing in many stage productions of both classical and modern drama. Paolo Renier (21 November 1710 – 13 February 1789) was a Venetian statesman, the 119th and penultimate Doge of Venice. He was a noted orator, and served as ambassador to the Ottoman Empire and to Austria. His election as Doge was unpopular, and he was the subject of numerous menacing letters at the time. Renier was succeeded as Doge by Ludovico Manin, who would be the last Doge of Venice. He married Giustina Donà (d. 1751) in 1733, and Margherita Delmaz (d. 1817) in 1751. Joseph Emile Renier (1887–1966) was an American traditionalist artist and professor, best known as a sculptor and medalist. He created architectural sculptures, reliefs, and medals and was active in the New York City and New Jersey area. Biography Joseph Emile Renier was born in 1887 in Union City, New Jersey. He studied at the Art Students League of New York with George Bridgman. In 1915 Renier won the Prix de Rome to study at American Academy in Rome, and he studied in Brussels with Victor Rousseau. During World War I, Renier served with the American Red Cross in Italy and returned to the United States by 1921. Renier taught life drawing at Yale University for 14 years, and taught architecture courses at New York University.
