Brenda Reneau
Brenda Reneau (January 4, 1954 – December 5, 2013) was an American Republican Party politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Reneau served as the Oklahoma Commissioner of Labor for three consecutive terms. First elected in 1994, she was the first woman to serve as Labor Commissioner. Reelected in 1998 and 2002, she narrowly lost her bid for another term in 2006 and her term ended in January 2007. Labor Commissioner 1994 election Reneau and three others, Mike Fair, Milton Stavinsky, and Jim Marshall, sought the Republican nomination for Labor Commissioner in 1994. Dan Reneau
Daniel Dugan Reneau, Jr. (born June 11, 1940) is the former president of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, a position which he filled from July 1, 1987, until his retirement effective June 30, 2013. He was succeeded by Dr. Les Guice. Background A native of Woodville in southwestern Mississippi, Reneau graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1963 with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He earned a master's degree in 1964 from the same institution. He received his Ph.D. in 1966 from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Reneau returned to Louisiana Tech in 1967 to serve as an assistant professor of chemical engineering. He became an associate professor in 1969 and was promoted to full professor in 1973. In 1972, Reneau established the Louisiana Tech biomedical engineering department, only the fifth undergraduate program of its kind, and was named its head. Germán Enrique Centeno Reneau, known as “Quique” Renau (9 April 1971 – 23 August 2015) was a Honduran football player. Club career A lightning fast striker and nicknamed ''El Esquilete'' (the Stilletto) or ''La Gacela'' (the Gazelle), Reneau started his career at Victoria where he debuted in 1989. He went on to score 37 goals with Victoria between 1990 and 1996, as well in 2000. At Victoria he was an important member of their first league title-winning team in 1995 when scoring the goal that won them the championship against Olimpia in Tegucigalpa. Malik Reneau (born April 1, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for Montverde Academy, where he helped lead his team to back-to-back GEICO High School Basketball National titles (2021 and 2022). He is ranked as one of the top 30 recruits in the 2022 recruiting class and the Big Ten's top-ranked freshman forward. Rammenau
Rammenau (German) or Ramnow (Upper Sorbian) is a municipality in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. It is known as the birthplace of the well-known German philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte. Rammenau Castle was built between 1721 and 1735 by architect Johann Christoph Knöffel for Ernst Ferdinand von Knoch, chamberlain of king Augustus II the Strong. As Knoch went bankrupt with the immense costs of this project, Franz Josef von Hoffmann purchased it in a foreclosure auction in 1744. In 1879 it was sold to the ''von Posern'' family, with the last owner, Margarete von Helldorff née von Posern, being expropriated by the communists in 1945. Today it is owned by the State Palaces, Castles and Gardens of Saxony and open to the public, housing a museum with period furniture.
