Remy Zaken
Remy Zaken (born May 9, 1989) is an American stage and television actress best known for being one of the youngest cast members in the Original Broadway production of '' Spring Awakening'' at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, playing the role of Thea. Zaken received a BA in psychology from Columbia University, after having deferred for a year in order to perform in ''Spring Awakening''. Acting career Zaken was born in Norwalk, Connecticut. She has acted professionally since she was ten years old. She performed in the Original Broadway production of '' Spring Awakening'' as Thea from December 10, 2006, until January 18, 2009. She also starred in the off-Broadway production of ''Freckleface Strawberry'' as Strawberry from February 4, 2011, through the summer of 2011. Zaken has appeared in a number of television shows, including '' The View'', ''CW 11'' morning news, and the ''Today Show'' for interviews pertaining to her role in ''Spring Awakening''. Goodspeed Musicals is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of musical theater and the creation of new works, located in East Haddam, Connecticut.
