Remy Siemsen
Remy Siemsen (born 10 November 1999) is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for Leicester City in the English Women's Super League. She has represented Australia on the under-20 national team. Following her debut season in the W-League at the age of 16, she was named W-League Young Footballer of the Year. Early life Siemsen attended Oxford Falls Grammar School. She played junior football for BTH Raiders. Siemsen was selected for the Australian School Girls Squad and represented Football NSW at the National Training Centre (NTC) Challenge. St Leonards, New South Wales
St Leonards is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. St Leonards is located north-west of the Sydney central business district and lies across the local government areas of Municipality of Lane Cove, North Sydney Council and the City of Willoughby. Kristen Marie Hamilton (born April 17, 1992) is an American professional Association football, soccer player who plays for Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League and for Western Sydney Wanderers FC (W-League), Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian W-League (Australia), W-League. Natasha Khalila Dowie (born 30 June 1988) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Women's Super League club Reading. She represented the England women's national football team at the youth level before making her senior international debut in 2009. Morgan Elizabeth Andrews (born March 25, 1995) is an American soccer player who last played as a midfielder for OL Reign in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The W-League Golden Boot is an annual football (soccer) award presented to the leading goalscorer in the Australian A-League Women. The W-League was established in 2008 as the top tier of women's football in Australia. The award is given to the top-scorer over the regular season (not including the finals series). A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia. The W-League was established in 2008 by Football Australia (then known as Football Federation Australia) and was originally composed of eight teams of which seven had an affiliation with an existing A-League Men club. 2019–20 W-League
The 2019–20 W-League season was the twelfth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. Nine teams competed in the league, with most of the players from Australia but 33 of them from 11 other countries. Melbourne City was undefeated through the regular season, the third time this has occurred in the W-League and the second time it has been achieved by Melbourne City. The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season has had a significant impact on the season. Apart from the need to defer a few matches, there were a number of matches that were played in a smoke haze, with some players requiring asthma medication during the matches.
