Remi Nicole
Remi Nicole Wilson (born 6 April 1983), better known as Remi Nicole, is a British singer-songwriter and actress who was born in North London, but now resides in Los Angeles. She is best known for her single "Go Mr Sunshine", which was released in 2007. Her debut album, '' My Conscience and I'', was released later that year and her second, '' Cupid Shoot Me'', on 31 August 2009. As an actress she is credited as Remi Wilson. Background Nicole has a mixed background of Afro-Trinidadian, Austrian and Jewish heritage and has lived in Holloway, Islington, Highgate, Finsbury Park, Tufnell Park and Highbury. She trained as an actress at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2004. ''Cupid Shoot Me'' is the second album by Remi Nicole, released in the UK on 31 August. The album was produced by Grammy-winning producer Mark Taylor, who has worked with Rod Stewart, Tina Turner and Diana Ross, as well as Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Nelly Furtado. The album is a mixture of styles ranging from doo wop to rockabilly Rockabilly is one of the earliest styles of rock and roll music. It dates back to the early 1950s in the United States, especially the Southern United States, South. As a genre it blends the sound of Western music (North America), Western music ..., girl-group to soulful rock. Nicole describes it as an album about "not being in love", and says that "It’s like a fairy tale. There’s something quite enchanted about it.". Birmingham School of Acting (BSA), previously known as Birmingham School of Speech Training and Dramatic Art (BSSTDA) and then as Birmingham School of Speech and Drama (BSSD) was a drama school located in Birmingham, England. It was founded in 1936 by Pamela Chapman and became a faculty of Birmingham City University in 2005. "Teenage Kicks" is the debut single by Northern Irish punk rock band the Undertones.
