''Religious Studies'' is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Cambridge University Press. It addresses problems of the philosophy of religion in the context of a variety of religious traditions. Issues were published approximately biannually from the journal's founding in 1965 until 1969, and have been quarterly since 1970. Philosopher's Index
The Philosopher's Information Center is a nonprofit, educational organization. It was founded in 1967 by Richard H. Lineback, who continues to serve as president. The center is publisher of ''The Philosopher's Index'', a comprehensive bibliography of publications in philosophy and related disciplines that date back to 1902 and originate in 140 countries. David Efird
David Hampton Efird (May 18, 1974 - January 9, 2020) was an American philosopher and Anglican priest. As an academic, he specialised in the philosophy of language and the philosophy of religion. Efird worked at the University of York from 2002. He was a lecturer between 2002 and 2007, and was a senior lecturer from 2007 until his death. He was head of two of York's colleges: Provost of Vanbrugh College, York from 2008 to 2013, and Principal of James College, York from 2013 to 2020. Efird was a Church of England priest. He was ordained a deacon in 2010 and to the priesthood in 2011. He was a Minor Canon of York Minster, where he served his curacy. He later served as an assistant curate of the Parish of St. Mary Bishophill, an Anglo-Catholic parish in the City of York. Efird died suddenly on January 9, 2020 in York, United Kingdom, aged 45. Mark Wynn
Mark Wynn is a British philosopher of religion, philosophical theologian and academic. He is the seventh Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion Oriel College, University of Oxford. He was formerly the president of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion. Education and career Wynn earned a BA in Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford, Hertford College. He earned a DPhil in 1991 at Oxford (Linacre College) under the supervision of Brian Davies and Richard Swinburne for his dissertation, ''God and the World: The Place of Explanation in Natural Theology''. Keith Ward
Keith Ward (born 1938) is an English philosopher, and theologian. He is a fellow of the British Academy and a priest of the Church of England. He was a canon of Christ Church, Oxford, until 2003. Comparative theology and the relationship between science and religion are two of his main topics of interest. Academic work Ward was born on 22 August 1938 in Hexham. Stewart Sutherland
Stewart Ross Sutherland, Baron Sutherland of Houndwood, (25 February 1941 – 29 January 2018) was a Scottish academic and public servant and one of Britain's most distinguished philosophers of religion. Robin Le Poidevin
Robin Le Poidevin (born 1962) is Emeritus Professor of Metaphysics at the University of Leeds, whose special interests include agnosticism, philosophy of religion, metaphysics, and philosophy of space and time. Biography Le Poidevin was educated at Repton School and Oriel College Oxford, where he graduated with a B.A. (1984, converted to M.A., 1988) in Psychology and Philosophy. Yujin Nagasawa
Yujin Nagasawa (born 23 June 1975) is a Japanese-born British philosopher specialising in the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of mind and applied philosophy. Nagasawa is H.G. Wood Professor of the Philosophy of Religion (formerly known as H. G. Wood Professor of Theology) at the University of Birmingham. He is also former president of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion, and Co-Director of the John Hick Centre for Philosophy of Religion.
