Relentless (Natalie Grant Album)
''Relentless'' is the sixth studio album by contemporary Christian music singer Natalie Grant. It was released on February 12, 2008, through Curb Records. Critical reception Andree Farias of AllMusic said "After surviving two label shutdowns and constant trial-and-error, the powerhouse vocalist finally hit it big with 2005's ''Awaken (Natalie Grant album), Awaken'', her best-selling fifth studio album. Before that, it was false start after false start—the singer with the big voice and even bigger Christian pop dreams couldn't seem to get her break. But ''Awaken'' was different. For the first time, Grant was finally taking the reins of her career, forging a vision of her own, handling a larger share of the songwriting duties, and opting for a more mature, pop/rock-inflected adult contemporary sound. With ''Relentless'', Grant continues this maturation process, displaying even more artistic autonomy, aggression, and adventurousness than before. For a Christian pop diva, she's cert ...

Propitiously, Jobanputra had departed EMI in April 2011, with a deal returning control of the Relentless name to him whilst leaving the label's roster signed to the major. Very (Pet Shop Boys Album)
''Very'' is the fifth studio album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 27 September 1993 by Parlophone, nearly three years after the duo's previous studio album, ''Behaviour'', and following the compilation album '' Discography: The Complete Singles Collection''. ''Very'' exhibits one of many turning points the Pet Shop Boys would make to their music, shifting from the subdued electronic pop of ''Behaviour'' to richly instrumented dance arrangements. The content and lyrics led to ''Very'' being called their "coming-out" album, since it was during this time that Neil Tennant had publicly discussed his long-rumoured homosexuality. Background and release The album ''Behaviour'', released in 1990, although critically well-received, was commercially not as successful as their previous releases. In particular, the second single released, "Being Boring", which the duo had considered one of their strongest tracks, did not perform well on the UK charts, peaking at number ...

Relentless (Jo O'Meara Album)
''Relentless'' is the debut solo album by English singer Jo O'Meara. It was released by Sanctuary Records on 3 October 2005 in the United Kingdom, two and a half years after the initial split of her band S Club 7 in May 2003. Chiefly produced by Brian Rawling and co-written by O'Meara, the album is a mix of contemporary pop, disco and soulful ballads. It debuted and peaked at 48 on the UK Albums Chart. Critical reception Caroline Sullivan from ''The Guardian'' found that "her solo album confirms beyond debate that 'Mearadoes indeed have a voice, and an Aguilera-type tornado at that, but it also proves that S Club's club-footed balladry still has a pernicious hold. The Celine Dion-ised slurpiness of the opening title track kickstarts a whole album's worth of future hen party classics. To hear her wasting her strong, sure vocals on sub- Kylie generica like "Let's Love" and the Nashville-via-Essex stab at country, "Never Felt Like This," is a pain. The joyous redemption of "Wish ...

The album was originally recorded and released in 1982 on the ''All Your Sins'' demo tape, as Death Row. The band decided to re-record some vocals and guitar parts in 1984 and created a complete new mix for their self-released debut album. The 1984 remix of the recordings appeared only on first-edition vinyl copies of the album (those with the purple logo on the cover) and that mix was never released on CD or later vinyl pressings. When Peaceville reissued the album on CD in 1993, they restored the 1982 mix and track listing to save the original spirit and charm of the recordings. All CD and LP ...
