Reinhold Mack (also known as Mack, born 25 August 1949) is a German Record producer, record producer and Sound engineer, engineer. Mack is best known for his collaborations with Electric Light Orchestra, Queen (band), Queen, and Sparks (band), Sparks. Biography Early life and education Mack grew up in Munich, West Germany and was Classically trained, classically trained on piano, clarinet, and acoustic guitar. At the age of fourteen he discovered the Electric guitar, electric guitar, playing in Cover band, cover bands before being drafted into the Bundeswehr, West German Army. When Mack came home following his military service, he learned that his parents had gotten rid of his music equipment, and he decided to seek work at a Recording studio, recording studio. Oom-pah
Oom-pah, Oompah or Umpapa is an onomatopoeic term describing the rhythmical sound of a deep brass instrument in combination with the response of other instruments or registers in a band, a form of background ostinato. The oom-pah sound is usually made by the tuba alternating between the root (tonic) of the chord and the 5th (dominant) — this sound is said to be the ''oom''. The ''pah'' is played on the off-beats by higher-pitched instruments such as the clarinet, accordion or trombone. Oompah is often associated with ''Volkstümliche Musik'', a form of popular German music, and with polka. In triple time genres such as the waltz it is oom-pah-pah. The musical ''Oliver!'' contains a song named "Oom-Pah-Pah", which is named after the oom-pah. ''Black and Blue'' is the 13th British and 15th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 23 April 1976 by Rolling Stones Records. This album was the first recorded after former guitarist Mick Taylor quit in December 1974. As he had done the previous time the Stones were between second guitarists in 1968, Keith Richards recorded the bulk of the guitar parts himself, though the album recording sessions also served as an audition for Taylor's replacement. Richards said of the album that it was used for "rehearsing guitar players, that's what that one was about." ''It's Only Rock 'n Roll'' is the 12th British and 14th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 18 October 1974 by Rolling Stones Records. ''Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow'' is an album by English rock band T. Rex, the ninth since Tyrannosaurus Rex's debut LP. It was released in March 1974 on the T.Rex record label, distributed by EMI. It was the first and only album to be released under the moniker "Marc Bolan & T. Rex". Unlike many of T. Rex's previous albums, it was not released domestically in North America; instead, the record compagny released the U.S.-only ''Light of Love'' in August of the same year, featuring three tracks from ''Zinc Alloy'' while the remainder songs would appear on the band's next album, ''Bolan's Zip Gun''. ''Zinc Alloy'' was met with bemusement by the listening public. It reportedly confused listeners and divided the band's fanbase at the time, while critical reception was universally negative. Marc Bolan
Marc Bolan ( ; born Mark Feld; 30 September 1947 – 16 September 1977) was an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was a pioneer of the glam rock movement in the early 1970s with his band T. Rex. Bolan was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 as a member of T. Rex. In the late 1960s, he rose to fame as the founder and leader of the psychedelic folk band Tyrannosaurus Rex, with whom he released four critically acclaimed albums and had one minor hit "Debora". Bolan had started as an acoustic singer-writer before heading into electric music prior to the recording of T. Rex's first single " Ride a White Swan" which went to number two in the UK singles chart. Anthony Edward Visconti (born April 24, 1944) is an American record producer, musician and singer. Since the late 1960s, he has worked with an array of performers. His first hit single was T. Rex's " Ride a White Swan" in 1970, the first of many hits in collaboration with Marc Bolan. Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (, ; born 26 April 1940) is an Italian composer, songwriter, and record producer.
