Reinhold Johan Von Fersen
Reinhold Johan von Fersen (1646, Tallinn – 1716, Stockholm) was the List of governors of Västerbotten County, governor of Västerbotten County from 1688 to 1692 and of List of governors of Halland County, Halland County from 1705 to 1710. His son was Hans Reinhold Fersen (1683–1736).

Swedish Nobility
The Swedish nobility ( sv, Adeln eller Ridderskapet och Adeln) has historically been a legally and/or socially privileged class in Sweden, and part of the so-called ''frälse'' (a derivation from Old Swedish meaning ''free neck''). The archaic term for nobility, ''frälse'', also included the clergy, a classification defined by tax exemptions and representation in the diet (the Riksdag). Today the nobility does not maintain its former legal privileges although family names, titles and coats of arms are still protected. Baltic-German People
Baltic Germans (german: Deutsch-Balten or , later ) were ethnic German inhabitants of the eastern shores of the Baltic Sea, in what today are Estonia and Latvia. Since their coerced resettlement in 1939, Baltic Germans have markedly declined as a geographically determined ethnic group. However, it is estimated that several thousand people with some form of (Baltic) German identity still reside in Latvia and Estonia. The Fersen family, stylized as the von Fersen family (german: Versen), is a Baltic German aristocratic family grouped into several ennobled branches that settled in and around the kingdoms bordering the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. The most well-known holders of the surname settled in modern day Sweden and Livonia (modern day Latvia and Estonia) which was once part of the Swedish Empire, and later of the Russian Empire. Overview The family was first mentioned in the historical region of Pomerania in the 13th century. Hans Reinhold von Fersen (2 March 1683 Tallinn – 25 May 1736 Stockholm) was a Swedish count, politician and soldier. He served as lieutenant general from 1720 and as president of the Svea Court of Appeal from 1731. He was the son of count Reinhold Johan von Fersen and Anna Sophia von Ungern-Sternberg.
