Reinhardt University
Reinhardt University is a private university in Waleska, Georgia. The university has an off-campus center in Alpharetta and offers some programs in Cartersville, Marietta, and Canton, and online. Reinhardt is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. History Founding In 1883, former Confederate Army Captain and Atlanta lawyer Augustus M. Reinhardt and his brother-in-law, former Lieutenant-Colonel John J. A. Sharp, commenced plans to open a school in Waleska. Both Reinhardt and Sharp had grown up in the Waleska area, and after the American Civil War had ended and the hardships of Reconstruction begun, both men wanted to provide a school for the local citizens of impoverished Cherokee County. Reinhardt Kristensen
Reinhardt Møbjerg Kristensen (born 1948) is a Denmark, Danish invertebrate biologist, noted for the discovery of three new phylum, phyla of microscopic animals: the Loricifera in 1983, the Symbion, Cycliophora in 1995, and the Limnognathia, Micrognathozoa in 2000. He is also considered one of the world's leading experts on Tardigrada, tardigrades. His recent field of work revolves mostly around arctic biology. He is also known for documenting ''Dendrogramma'', an invertebrate genus that was later classified as Siphonophorae of the family Rhodaliidae. Reinhardt Rahr
Reinhardt Rahr (April 22, 1859 – October 18, 1921) was an American businessman and brewer. Born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Rahr served an apprenticeship with a manufacturing chemist, in Chicago, Illinois, and attended classes at the Chicago College of Pharmacy graduating in 1877. He then graduated from University of Michigan in 1881. Rahr was in the beer and malt business in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and was also involved with the banking business. Rahr served on the Manitowoc Common Council. In 1886, he was elected mayor of Manitowoc.
