Juanita Reina
Juana Reina Castrillo (August 25, 1925 in Seville – March 19, 1999 in Seville) better known as Juanita Reina, was a Spanish actress and copla singer. She was born in the Sevillian district, la Macarena, Seville and studied in Enrique el Cojo's academy. She became popular thanks to songs by famous copla songwriters like León or Quiroga and she debuted in movies with ''La blanca Paloma'' (''White Pigeon'') (1941). On June 15, 1964, she married the flamenco dancer Federico Casado Algrenti, and she later inaugurated a restaurant in Madrid and a dancing academy in Seville. She died from a respiratory insufficiency and she is buried in the cemetery San Fernando in Seville. Enrique Iglesia Reina (born Folkestone, 2 October 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward in the Football League for Brentford. Football career Reina began his career with non-League club Folkestone Invicta, before moving to Dover Athletic and then to Brentford in September 1997, for a £50,000 fee. He made 9 appearances for the Second Division club, but was forced to retire from professional football due to a knee injury in April 1998. Armando Andrés Betancourt Reina is an independent Cuban journalist and author. Career In 2006 Betancourt Reina was a reporter for Nueva Prensa Cubana, an independent news agency. He was arrested on 23 May 2006 while watching a forced eviction of poor people in La Guernica, Camagüey, and detained on charges of public disorder. According to the police he had joined a protest against the evictions. After being arrested, Betancourt was at first held in isolation, and could not see his family or lawyers. He was initially sentenced to three years in prison.
