Regional Rugby Championship
The Regional Rugby Championship is an annual rugby union competition involving sides from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. This was a successor to the Interliga between clubs from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia which started in 2004/2005. In the past the Championship has also featured teams from Austria and Bulgaria, and invitations to teams from Greece Greece,, or , romanized: ', officially the Hellenic Republic, is a country in Southeast Europe. Rugby union, commonly known simply as rugby, is a close-contact team sport that originated at Rugby School in the first half of the 19th century. Stari plac (lit. "Old ground"), also often referred to as Plinara Stadion, (or incorrectly in some foreign sources as ''Plinada Stadion'') is a stadium in Split, Croatia used originally for association football and later mainly for rugby union.
