Regional Action
Regional Action ( es, Acción Regional; AR) was a small centre-right political party in pre-transition Spain. Founded in 1976 by former Francoist government minister Laureano López Rodó it was a self-defined Regionalist, conservative and Christian humanist party. Regional Action was one of the seven founding parties of the People's Alliance. Laureano López Rodó (18 November 1920 – 11 March 2000) was a Spanish lawyer, diplomat and politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Commissioner and later Minister for Development Planning during the rule of Francisco Franco. Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón
Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón Jiménez (born 11 December 1958) is a Spanish politician and former Minister of Justice. He was mayor of Madrid between 2003 and 2011. A stalwart of the conservative People's Party (PP), he has previously been a leading figure in various local and national legislative bodies. In December 2011 Ruiz-Gallardón was appointed Minister of Justice in Mariano Rajoy's inaugural cabinet. He resigned in September 2014. Early life and education Ruiz-Gallardón was born in Madrid. ''ABC'' () is a Spanish national daily newspaper. It is the second largest general-interest newspaper in Spain, number one in Madrid, and the oldest newspaper still operating in Madrid.
