Reginald Atkins
Reginald Atkins (born December 25, 1967) is an American pastor and politician who has represented the 20th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly since taking office on January 11, 2022. Atkins served as president of the board of education of the Roselle Public Schools from 2007 to 2016. Elected to the Roselle borough council in 2016, he served as council president from 2018 to 2019, and was elected as mayor, serving from 2020 to 2021. David Wildstein
David Wildstein (born September 1961) is an American businessman, Republican Party (United States), Republican Party politician, political blogger, and the founder of the New Jersey political news website PolitickerNJ.com, Politicker Network. A former mayor of Livingston, New Jersey, he served as a senior official in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey during the administration of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie until 2013, when Wildstein resigned in the midst of a Fort Lee lane closure scandal, scandal involving traffic lanes closures. On May 1, 2015, he pleaded guilty to two federal felony counts of conspiracy as part of a plea agreement. Wildstein was sentenced in July 2017 without incarceration. The 221st New Jersey Legislature began on January 9, 2024, following the 2023 elections for Assembly and Senate. It will end January 13, 2026. This will be the first session of the state legislature where legislators will represent districts in the new legislative map that will be used until the 2031 election cycle.
