Regina Cobb
Regina Cobb is a former Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing Arizona's Legislative District Five. A dentist, she graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1993 and currently practices at Kingman, Arizona. She was President of the Arizona Dental Association in 2009. She was a candidate in the 2022 Arizona State Treasurer election, but withdrew the 1st of September, 2021. Arizona 5th Legislative District
Arizona's 5th Legislative District is one of 30 in the state, consisting of a section of Maricopa County. As of 2023, there are 54 precincts in the district, all in Maricopa, with a total registered voter population of 126,361. The district has an overall population of 239,088. Following the 2020 United States redistricting cycle, the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (AIRC) redrew legislative district boundaries in Arizona. According to the AIRC, the district is "Outside of Competitive Range" and considered leaning . Sonny Borrelli is an American politician and a Republican member of the Arizona Senate, representing the 30th district. He is the Senate Majority Leader. Borrelli formerly served in the Arizona House of Representatives as a representative of District 5, from January 14, 2013, to January 9, 2017. Early life and career Borrelli was a U.S. Marine from 1977 to 1999. He moved to Arizona in 2000 and was a member of the Lake Havasu City Council from 2010 to 2012. The 2022 Arizona State Treasurer election took place on November 8, 2022, to elect the State Treasurer of Arizona, concurrently with other federal and state elections. Doris Goodale (March 8, 1949 – June 5, 2020) was an American politician and a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 5 since January 14, 2013. Goodale served consecutively from January 2009 until January 14, 2013, in the District 3 seat. Background Goodale was born in Tucson, Arizona. She received her associate arts degree from Phoenix College in 1969 and her bachelor's degree in sociology from Arizona State University in 1969.
