Reg Cooke is a New Zealand former rugby league footballer who represented New Zealand in the 1960 World Cup. Playing career Cooke originally played in the Waikato Rugby League competition and represented Waikato. In 1960 he was selected for the New Zealand national rugby league team squad for the 1960 World Cup but did not play in a match. Instead, he made his debut in 1961 against Australia. For the 1961 season Cooke had moved north to Auckland, joining the Papakura club who played as part of Eastern United in the Auckland Rugby League competition. The West Coast rugby league team are New Zealand rugby league team that represents the West Coast Rugby League. They have been nicknamed the ''Chargers''. The France national rugby league team represent France in international rugby league matches. They are referred to as ''les Chanticleers'' or less commonly as ''les Tricolores''. The team is run under the auspices of the Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII. The French rugby league team first played in 1934 on a tour of England. They have taken part in all World Cups, 16 in total, with the first being held in 1954 in France. They have never won the title but finished runners-up in both 1954 and 1968.
