Refik Durbaş (10 February 1944, Pasinler – 1 December 2018, Istanbul), Turkish poet, journalist and writer. Life He was born in Erzurums Pasinler district. Graduated High School in İzmir. He left Istanbul University Literature Faculty Turkish language and literature department before completion. He worked different jobs between 1965 and 1968. He worked at '' Yeni İstanbul'' and ''Cumhuriyet'' newspapers as a proofreader. His first poem was published in the İzmir in the ''Ege Ekspres'' newspapers art section. Ahmet Refik Altınay
Ahmet Refik Altınay (1881 – 1937) was a Turkish historian, academic, writer and poet, who gave history lectures at Darülfünun after the First World War. Life Altınay attended Vişnezade Primary School, Beşiktaş Military Secondary School and Kuleli Military School. In 1889 he graduated at the top of his class and joined the military, eventually rising to the rank of captain. As a young lieutenant, Altınay was given teaching jobs instead of being sent out into the field. For four years, he taught geography at the Toptaşı and Soğukçeşme Military Secondary Schools. In 1902 he became a French teacher, and in 1908, a history teacher. In 1918 Altınay began to teach history at the Istanbul Darülfünun, and the following year was appointed professor of Turkish History. Refik Erduran
Ahmet Refik Erduran (February 13, 1928 – January 7, 2017) was a Turkish playwright, columnist and writer. He wrote thirty plays and eight books, and was a columnist for twenty years; he was named "The Most Successful Playwright" by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and "The Most Successful Columnist" by the Turkish Journalists' Association. He was married four times and had four children. Erduran served as a military interpreter during the Korean War. Refik Halit Karay (15 March 1888 – 18 July 1965) was a Turkish educator, writer and journalist. Biography He was born in Beylerbeyi, İstanbul, on 14 March 1888. His parents were Mehmed Halid Bey and Nefise Ruhsar Hanım. After studying at Galatasaray High School and Istanbul University Faculty of Law, he briefly served in the Ministry of Finance of the Ottoman Empire. During the Second Constitutional Era in 1908 he resigned from his post and published a short-living newspaper. He also wrote in literary periodicals. Refik Koraltan (1889 – June 17, 1974) was a Turkish politician, having served as the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) from May 22, 1950 to May 27, 1960. Refik Kozić (; born 25 December 1951) is a retired Yugoslav professional footballer who played for FK Partizan, and in the NASL between 1980 and 1984 for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Refik Šabanadžović (born 2 August 1965) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and defender. Born in Montenegro, at the time part of SFR Yugoslavia, Šabanadžović played internationally for Yugoslavia and unofficially for the predecessor of Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.
