Red Oxx Manufacturing, Inc. is an American manufacturing company which produces travel luggage. The company was founded in 1986 by Jim Markel Sr., a retired Green Beret Captain, and was joined by his son Jim Markel Jr. and Perry Jones, also retired military parachute riggers. The ''Billings Gazette'' is a daily newspaper based in Billings, Montana that primarily covers issues in southeast Montana and parts of northern Wyoming. Historically it has been known as the largest newspaper in Montana and is geographically one of the most widely distributed newspapers in the nation. The Gazette employs a newsroom staff of roughly 20 reporters, editors and photographers combined. History Outside founders were Jann Wenner (the first editor in chief), William Randolph Hearst III (its first managing editor), and Jack Ford (an assistant to founding publisher Donald Welsh and a son of former U.S. President Gerald Ford). Wenner sold ''Outside'' to Lawrence J. Burke two years later.
