Reception is a 2011 short film directed by Dane McCusker and written by Jasper Marlow. It revolves around a pregnant hotel worker played by ex-Home and Away star Jessica Tovey. Home And Away
''Home and Away'' (often abbreviated as ''H&A'') is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and commenced broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. Bateman came up with the concept of the show during a trip to Kangaroo Point, New South Wales, where he noticed locals were complaining about the construction of a foster home and against the idea of foster children from the city living in the area. The soap opera was initially going to be called ''Refuge'', but the name was changed to the "friendlier" title of ''Home and Away'' once production began. The show premiered with a ninety-minute pilot episode (subsequently in re-runs and on VHS known as ''Home and Away: The Movie''). Since then, each subsequent episode has aired for a duration of twenty-two minutes. Jessica Tovey
Jessica Tovey (born 10 November 1987) is an Australian actress. Tovey graduated from the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and has made appearances for various drama companies. She is best known for her role of Belle Taylor on the long-running Australian soap opera '' Home and Away''. Tovey joined the show in 2006 and was nominated for two Logie Awards during her time there. In 2009, she announced she had quit ''Home and Away'' and her character was killed off. Tovey became the face of American shoe company, Skechers. She appeared in '' Underbelly: The Golden Mile'' in 2010 and '' Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo'' in 2011. The Dungog Film Festival was an annual event held in the Hunter Region town of Dungog. The Dungog Film Festival was a not-for-profit arts organization that was dedicated to celebrating and promoting the Australian screen industry.
