The receiver general for Canada (french: receveur général du Canada) is responsible for making payments to the Government of Canada each fiscal year, accepting payments from financial institutions and preparing the Public Accounts of Canada, containing annual audited financial statements of the Government of Canada. The receiver general deposits and withdraws funds from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Canada. The minister of public services and procurement is the receiver general for Canada. Duchy Of Cornwall
The Duchy of Cornwall ( kw, Duketh Kernow) is one of two royal duchies in England, the other being the Duchy of Lancaster. The eldest son of the reigning British monarch obtains possession of the duchy and the title of 'Duke of Cornwall' at birth or when his parent succeeds to the throne, but may not sell assets for personal benefit and has limited rights and income while a minor. The current duke is Prince William. When the monarch has no male children, the rights and responsibilities of the duchy revert to the Crown. The Duchy Council, called the Prince's Council, meets twice a year and is chaired by the duke. The Prince's Council is a non-executive body which provides advice to the duke with regard to the management of the duchy. The Keeper of the Privy Purse and Treasurer to the King/Queen (or Financial Secretary to the King/Queen) is responsible for the financial management of the Royal Household of the Sovereign of the United Kingdom. The officeholder is assisted by the Deputy Treasurer to the King/Queen for the management of the Sovereign Grant, currently Sally O'Neill (formerly Chief Operating Officer of the Royal Opera House). The officeholder is also assisted by the Deputy Keeper of the Privy Purse for semi-private concerns, such as racing stables, the Royal Philatelic Collection, Royal Ascot, the Chapel Royal, the Page of Honour, Military Knights of Windsor, Royal Maundy, the Royal Victorian Order, grace and favour apartments, and the Duchy of Lancaster. Receiver General Of The Isle Of Man
{{Politics of the Isle of Man The Receiver-General of the Isle of Man was an appointment made by the Lieutenant Governor. Until 1919, the Receiver-General had a seat in the Legislative Council but he was removed as an ex officio member of the Council under the Isle of Man Constitution Amendment Act 1919. The holder of this office was called "Receiver-General and Collector" between 1765 and 1832, and since then Receiver-General only. After 1765, he had no land revenues to collect. He shared the work of collecting the customs duties and port dues with the Water-Bailiff until 1832, when he was superseded by the appointment of a Collector, who was taken from among the members of HM Customs service.
