Rebirth Of The Temple
''Rebirth of the Temple'' is the first studio album by the American metalcore band Silent Civilian. It was released on May 2, 2006, by Mediaskare Records. The album contains two enhanced videos – one music video for the song "Rebirth of the Temple" and a behind-the-scenes look at how the album was made. In the music video, Wayne Static from Static-X and Roy Mayorga from Stone Sour can be seen on the left at the start. Nearly a year after the album's release, a video for "The Song Remains Un-Named" was released. The video shows the possible tragic effects of alcohol and drug abuse. The edit of the song is different from the album's as not only is the song shortened heavily but, during the chorus, there is an extra lead guitar playing. The title of the song is a parody of Led Zeppelin's " The Song Remains the Same". Silent Civilian
Silent Civilian is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band originating from Los Angeles, California. Following his departure from nu metal band Spineshank in 2004, frontman Jonny Santos felt he wanted to move in a different direction musically and start from scratch. Silent Civilian was thus formed and the band faced trouble from the start after experiencing several line-up changes and departing from their original record label Corporate Punishment Records. The band signed with Mediaskare Records and released their debut record, ''Rebirth of the Temple'', in 2006. Receiving generally positive reviews, the album has sold more than 25,000 copies since its release in the United States. Roy Mayorga
Roy Mayorga (born April 6, 1970) is an American musician, best known as the drummer of heavy metal bands Hellyeah and Stone Sour and is currently the drummer for the industrial metal band Ministry. Early life Mayorga was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City, on April 6, 1970, to Cuban and Ecuadorian parents. At four years old, his family moved to Florida. While growing up, his parents would often play Motown music and rhythm and blues, which were his earliest exposures to music. He eventually became a fan of Kiss through his older brother, which led him to become interested in rock music. He began playing drums at six years old. His parents soon divorced, leading to him moving to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he became involved in the local punk rock scene. Spineshank was an American metal band from Los Angeles. The band has released four studio albums: '' Strictly Diesel'' (1998), ''The Height of Callousness'' (2000), ''Self-Destructive Pattern'' (2003), and ''Anger Denial Acceptance'' (2012). Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk.
