Rebellion (2023)
The 2023 Rebellion was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on April 16, 2023, at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was the fifth event under the Rebellion chronology. Ten matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show and one taped as a digital exclusive. In the main event, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace to win the vacant Impact Knockouts World Championship. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. Impact Knockouts World Championship
The Impact Knockouts World Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship owned by Impact Wrestling. It is primarily contested for in Impact's women's division, known as the Impact Knockouts. The championship debuted on October 14, 2007 at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view (PPV) event under the name TNA Knockouts Championship until the promotion changed its name in March 2017, then added the world status in 2021. The current champion is Jordynne Grace, who is in her second reign. The tag team counterpart of the title is the Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championships, which was re-introduced at Hard To Kill in January 2021. Kenneth Layne (born July 22, 1981) is an American professional wrestler, actor, dancer, and television personality better known by his ring name, Kenny King. Brian Myers
Brian Myers (born April 20, 1985) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, where he is a former Impact Digital Media Champion. He is best known for his tenures in WWE from 2006–2014 and 2016–2020 under the ring name Curt Hawkins. Myers signed with WWE in 2006 and was assigned to their developmental territories. Mark LoMonaco (born July 14, 1971) is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Impact Wrestling under the ring name Bully Ray.
