Rebellion (2021)
Rebellion (2021) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on April 25, 2021 at the Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the third event under the Rebellion chronology. Nine matches were contested at the event, with one match contested on the pre-show. In the main event, which was a cross-promotional match between Impact and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defeated Impact World Champion Rich Swann in a Winner Takes All match, thus retaining the AEW World Championship and winning the Impact World Championship. In other prominent matches, Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering defeated Fire N Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz) to win the Knockouts Tag Team Championship, and Josh Alexander defeated TJP and defending champion Ace Austin to win the X Division Championship in the opening bout. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. AEW is owned by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, who founded the company in 2019; in-ring performers Matt & Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega also serve as company executives. Matthew Kaye (born June 26, 1974) is an American professional wrestler, professional wrestling commentator, actor and former high school teacher, using the ring name Matt Striker. Taylor Wilde
Shantelle Larissa Malawski (born January 26, 1986) is a Canadian professional wrestler. She is signed with Impact Wrestling, where she performs under the ring name Taylor Wilde. Malawski was under a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) contract from 2006 to 2007, but never made it past the developmental system. The Impact X Division Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by Impact Wrestling. It debuted on June 19, 2002, at the taping of then-TNA's second weekly pay-per-view (PPV) event. The current champion is Trey Miguel, who is in his second reign. The Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. It is contested for mainly by teams consisting of two female wrestlers in Impact Wrestling, known as the Impact Knockouts, in Impact's women's division; however, the championship was once held by a male. Fire 'N Flava was a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz. The team is known for working in Impact Wrestling, where they are two-time Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
