Rebeka Nirmali (27 November 1964 – 13 August 2014 as රෙබෙකා නිර්මලී) inhala, also as Rebecca Nirmali, was an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. Highly versatile actress with a career spanned for more than 25 years, Nirmali is best known for the role in television serial ''Weda Hamine''. She died on 13 August 2014 while receiving treatments at Maharagama Cancer Hospital at the age of 49. Personal life Nirmali was born on 27 November 1964 in Anuradhapura. She completed education from Nivanthaka Chethiya Vidyalaya, Anuradhapura. She has one daughter - Anne Niroshani, was born in 1987. Career She moved to Colombo and started drama career through the stage plays ''Lokaya Suddai'' and ''Sudu Samanalayo'' in 1987. Kanatte Cemetery
Kanatte Cemetery, also known locally as Borella Cemetery, is Colombo's main burial ground and crematorium. It is located at the intersection of Elvitigala Mawatha (Narahenpita Road), Bauddhaloka Mawatha (Bullers Road) and D. S. Senanayake Mawatha (Baseline Road). The cemetery is owned and operated by the Colombo Municipal Council and contains a Commonwealth War Graves Plot with a number of additional war graves dispersed around the site. The war graves include those of a German soldier, a German merchant seaman, a German interned civilian and an Austrian nursing sister. Kala Keerthi Jayantha Chandrasiri ( ජයන්ත චන්ද්‍රසිරි; born 1959), is a Sri Lankan journalist, screenplay writer, television director, and filmmaker in Sri Lankan cinema. Chandrasiri's film ''Agnidahaya'' won seven golden awards and four silver awards at the Signis International Film Festival 2003. His two teledramas ''Dandubasnamanaya'' and ''Akala Sandhya'' are rated as two of Seven Iconic Teledramas In Sri Lanka's Television History.
