Rebecca Moros
Rebecca Ann Moros (born May 6, 1985) is an American soccer coach and former player who is currently the head coach for University of Arizona women's soccer team. A defender during her playing career, Moros played for the Utah Royals, Houston Dash and Portland Thorns FC in the NWSL, INAC Kobe Leonessa in Japan's Nadeshiko League and for Washington Freedom and Western New York Flash in the Women's Professional Soccer. Early life Born in Manhattan, New York to Dr. Daniel Moros and Dr. Ann Schongalla, Moros attended Mamaroneck High School but only played her junior year for the school. Instead, she opted to play year-round soccer with club team, NYC FC, a team that won the Florida state championship two times. USL W-League (1995–2015)
The USL W-League was a North American amateur women's soccer developmental organization. The league was a semi-professional, open league, giving college players the opportunity to play alongside established international players while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league was administered by the United Soccer Leagues system (the USL), which also oversees the men's United Soccer League and Premier Development League. Women's Professional Soccer
Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) was the top-level professional women's soccer league in the United States. It began play on March 29, 2009. The league was composed of seven teams for its first two seasons and fielded six teams for the 2011 season, with continued plans for future expansion. The WPS was the highest level in the United States soccer pyramid for the women's game. On January 30, 2012, the league announced suspension of the 2012 season, citing several internal organization struggles as the primary cause. INAC Kobe Leonessa
INAC Kobe is a Japanese football club from Kobe, founded in 2001. INAC stands for International Athletic Club while Leonessa means Lioness in Italian. In 2006 INAC Leonessa was promoted to the Nadeshiko.League, where it has played since 2020. In 2021 they are playing in WE League.
