Rebecca Haynes (born 24 October 1984) is a basketball player from Australia. Personal Haynes was born on 24 October 1984, and has two siblings, a brother and a sister. She is tall. During the 2010/2011 basketball season, she attended the Queensland University of Technology where she worked towards a degree in accounting. Prior to that, she had attended Daytona Beach Community College, Community College of Rhode Island and Jacksonville State University. Basketball In basketball, she plays two different positions, guard and forward. She first played competitive basketball for the Southern Districts Spartans based in Queensland. She joined the WNBL for the 2008/2009 season as a member of the Logan Thunder and then continued playing for them in the 2009/2010 season. In her first season, she had an average of 2.8 points and 1.3 rebounds a game in 15 games played. Women's National Basketball League
The Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) is the pre-eminent professional women's basketball league in Australia. It is currently composed of eight teams. The league was founded in 1981 and is the women's counterpart to the National Basketball League (NBL). Several WNBL teams have NBL counterparts. The Adelaide Lightning, Melbourne Boomers, Perth Lynx, Southside Flyers and Sydney Uni Flames are the current WNBL teams sharing a market with an NBL team (the Townsville Fire and University of Canberra Capitals shared a market with the Townsville Crocodiles and Canberra Cannons respectively, before both NBL clubs became defunct). Jessica Bibby
Jessica Bibby (born 23 August 1979) is an Australian sportswoman. She has played over 200 games in the WNBL and won several WNBL Championships. She has played for the Dandenong Rangers and Canberra Capitals. She was drafted by the WNBA's New York Liberty in 2000 and played for the team. She has played for the Australian national basketball team at junior and senior level. In 2017, turned to Australian rules football, playing for in all seven games of the 2017 AFL Women's season. Bibby retired from professional sport at the end of the season. Personal Bibby was born on 23 August 1979. She is tall. NBL1 North, formerly the Queensland Basketball League (QBL), is a semi-professional basketball league in Queensland and Northern Territory, Australia, comprising both a men's and women's competition. In 2020, Basketball Queensland partnered with the National Basketball League (NBL) to bring NBL1 to Queensland.
