''Really Really Happy'' is the fifth album by the American pop punk band The Muffs, released in August 2004. The vinyl and CD releases have different cover art. A remastered 2-disc Deluxe version, with including four bonus tracks and a 16-track set of demos, was released on May 13, 2022. Track listing Contents of the Deluxe Edition bonus disc were previously released separately on vinyl only for Record Store Day in April 2022. The Muffs
The Muffs were an American pop punk band based in Southern California, formed in 1991. Led by singer and guitarist Kim Shattuck, the band released four full-length studio albums in the 1990s, as well as numerous singles including "Lucky Guy" and "Sad Tomorrow", and a cover version of "Kids in America". After a long hiatus beginning in 1999, the band released a fifth album in 2004 but thereafter effectively disbanded. Almost a decade later, the three core members of the band reunited and started performing again. Their sixth album, '' Whoop Dee Doo'', was released in 2014. Kim Shattuck died on October 2, 2019, following a two-year battle with ALS. On that same day, the Muffs confirmed that they had disbanded. Sympathy for the Record Industry (also known as Sympathy Records or Sympathy 4 the R.I.) is a mainly independent garage rock and punk label formed in 1988 by Long Gone John. The first Sympathy release was the Lazy Cowgirls' ''Radio Cowgirl'' LP, which Long Gone John said he released as a "favor to the band." Sympathy has a catalog of more than 750 releases and is based in Olympia, Washington. The label's name is a play on the song "Sympathy for the Devil" by The Rolling Stones. Oglio Records is an American record company started in 1993 by Carl Caprioglio. The label issues compilations of rare 1980s modern rock and new wave songs, many previously unreleased on CD. Anna Jeanette Waronker (born July 10, 1972) is a singer/songwriter, composer, and producer best known as the frontwoman of That Dog. She is the daughter of producer Lenny Waronker and actress and musician Donna Loren, the sister of session drummer Joey Waronker, and is married to Steven Shane McDonald of Melvins and Redd Kross. That Dog (1991–1997, 2011–present) Waronker was born in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from high school, Waronker formed the band that would become That Dog. Kimberly Dianne Shattuck (July 17, 1963 – October 2, 2019) was an American singer, musician, and songwriter. She was the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the American punk rock band the Muffs, which formed in 1991. From 1985 to 1990, Shattuck was a member of The Pandoras. Brian Kehew (born September 22, 1964) is an American, Los Angeles-based, musician and record producer. He is a member of The Moog Cookbook and co-author of the ''Recording The Beatles'' book, an in-depth look at the Beatles' studio approach. Live performances and recordings Kehew performed on keyboards with The Who on portions of their 2006–07 touring schedule. He has worked as an instrument technician (primarily keyboards) for The Who's live performances beginning in 2002, and filled in on keyboards during absences of John Bundrick from the tour. Earlier live performances include appearances with the French electronic-based band Air, Hole, and Dave Davies.
