Reality Film
Reality film or reality movie describes a genre of films that have resulted from reality television. Criteria Titles such as ''The Real Cancun'', MTV's film version of '' The Real World'' (which was originally titled ''Spring Break: The Reality Movie''), are examples of the genre. Reality Television
Reality television is a genre of television programming that documents purportedly unscripted real-life situations, often starring ordinary people rather than professional actors. Warhol Superstars
Warhol superstars were a clique of New York City personalities promoted by the pop artist Andy Warhol during the 1960s and 1970s. These personalities hung out at Warhol's studio, the Factory, appeared in his films, and accompanied him to his New York haunts. The Factory crowd, known for its casual sex, casual nudity, and flaunting queerness when it was still taboo, would come to symbolize the sexual revolution of the time. History The first recognized superstar was Baby Jane Holzer, whom Warhol featured in many of his early film experiments. Robert Francis "Bobcat" Goldthwait (born May 26, 1962) is an American comedian, actor, director, and screenwriter. He is known for his black comedy stand-up act, delivered through an energetic stage persona with an unusual raspy and high-pitched voice. Tony Barbieri
Anthony J. Barbieri (born August 26, 1963) is an American comedic writer and performer. He is known for his appearances as the ''Jimmy Kimmel Live!'' character "Jake Byrd", and as "Walter "Mole" Molinsky" in the Comedy Central tv movie, '' Windy City Heat''. Career Barbieri was the writer of the monthly satirical ''Monroe'' comic strip for ''Mad Magazine'' from 1997 to 2010. Background Perry Caravello is an aspiring celebrity and struggling comedian, actor, "skateboarder and snowboarder" who was "discovered" in 1992 by comedian Don Barris, the warmup comic for '' Jimmy Kimmel Live'' and '' The Man Show,'' during an open mic night audition at The Comedy Store in Westwood, Los Angeles, California. ''What Do You Say to a Naked Lady?'' is a 1970 American hidden-camera style reality film directed by ''Candid Camera'' creator Allen Funt. In the film, Funt secretly records people's reactions to unexpected encounters with nudity or sexuality in unusual situations. The film does contain some titillating material and both male and female full frontal nudity, but much of it involves Funt talking to people about sexuality and sexual topics. Whereas Funt's other productions had to fall within Federal Communications Commission guidelines prohibiting nudity and sexual content on the airwaves, this film was outside the FCC's jurisdiction and Funt was free to incorporate them into the film. Allen Albert Funt (September 16, 1914 – September 5, 1999) was an American television producer, director, writer and television personality, best known as the creator and host of ''Candid Camera'' from the 1940s to 1980s, as either a regular television show or a television series of specials. ''Candid Camera'' is an American hidden camera and practical joke reality television series. The show was created, developed, and presented by Allen Funt. Various versions of the show have appeared on television from 1948 to 2014. The program got its start on radio as ''The Candid Microphone'' on June 28, 1947. After a series of theatrical film shorts, also titled ''Candid Microphone'', Funt's concept came to television on August 10, 1948, and continued into the 1970s. Gerard Joseph Malanga (born March 20, 1943) is an American poet, photographer, filmmaker, actor, curator and archivist. Malanga worked with pop artist Andy Warhol from 1963 to 1970.
