History The sports title of Valleverde Riccione The origins of the team go back to 1921 when the former ''Valleverde Riccione F.C.'' was founded in Riccione. 2011–12 Serie D
The 2011–12 Serie D was the sixty-fourth edition of the top level Italian non-professional Association football, football championship. Riccione (; rgn, Arciôn ) is a ''comune'' in the Province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. As of 2018, Riccione had an estimated population of 35,003. The Eccellenza (, "excellence") is the fifth level (since 2014–15) of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions.
