Real Betis Cantera
The cantera (''quarry'') of Spanish professional football club Real Betis is the organisation's youth academy, developing players from childhood through to the integration of the best prospects into the adult teams. The final category within the youth structure is the ''Juvenil A'' under-18/19 team, which represents the club in national competitions. Successful graduates usually move to the club's reserve team, Betis Deportivo, which is also considered part of the cantera due to being a stage in progression towards the senior team, albeit competing in the adult league system (currently Segunda División B). The academy is based at the club training complex, Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol. Ciudad Deportiva Luis Del Sol
The Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol, is the training ground of the Spanish football club Real Betis. The centre which is named after the former Real Betis player Luis del Sol, is commonly nicknamed as ''La fábrica verdiblanca''. The 2005–06 UEFA Champions League was the 51st season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League and the 14th since it was rebranded from the European Cup in 1992. 74 teams from 50 football associations took part, starting with the first qualifying round played on 12 July 2005. The tournament ended with a final between Arsenal and Barcelona at Stade de France, Paris, on 17 May 2006. Barcelona won 2–1 with Juliano Belletti scoring a late winner.
