''Reah: Face the Unknown'', known in North America as simply ''Reah'', is a 1998 first-person puzzle-oriented adventure game with a non-linear plot, described as a '' Myst''-clone. It was developed by Project Two Interactive / Black Friar and published by Detalion and LK Avalon. It was distributed by Erbe in Spain on October 10, 1998. It was published by Project 2 Interactive in the Netherlands, and distributed in the U.S. and Canada by GT Interactive in 1999. The game was originally made in the Polish language before being dubbed into English, and has subtitles available in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish. A sequel of the game was released entitled '' Schizm: Mysterious Journey'' ( ''Reah II''). The game was originally released in two different formats: a CD version and a DVD version. Detalion
Detalion S.C, was a Polish video game developer founded by a partnership of six people, that first met in the early 1990s (Maciej Miąsik, Robert Ożóg, Łukasz Pisarek, Krzysztof Bar, Roland Pantoła & Danuta Sienkowska), working from game developer and publisher LK Avalon. These games (particularly ''Mysterious Journey: Schizm'') were noted for the complexity and great difficulty of their puzzles, and also were hailed as having some of the best graphics in the industry at the time. Detalion was one of the first developers to use the DVD-ROM disc as an effective medium for software distribution. After Detalion's disestablishment in 2005, its founders went on to create Detalion Games (basically a one-person shop, headed by Roland Pantola, which produced basic game concepts) and Detalion Arts (to work as an outsourcing studio doing various jobs, including for CD Projekt game The Witcher, until being purchased by City Interactive in 2007 and rebrand as City Interactive Rzeszów. ... ''Zork Nemesis: The Forbidden Lands'' is a graphic adventure game developed by Zombie LLC, published by Activision, and released in 1996 for Windows 95, MS-DOS, and Macintosh. It is the eleventh game in the ''Zork'' series, and the first title not to be marketed under the Infocom label, while featuring a darker, less comical story within the Zork setting. The story focuses on players investigating the sudden disappearance of four prominent figures and their children to the hands of a mysterious being known as the "Nemesis", and uncovering a sinister plot during their investigations that they must thwart. The game features performances by Lauren Koslow, W. Morgan Sheppard, Allan Kolman, Stephen Macht, Paul Anthony Stewart, Merle Kennedy, and Bruce Nozick. ''The 11th Hour'' is a 1995 interactive movie puzzle adventure game with a horror setting. It is the sequel to the 1993 game ''The 7th Guest''. A 3DO Interactive Multiplayer version was planned but never released. Plot The narrative begins 60 years after The 7th Guest's events. The year is 1995, and the player is Carl Denning, a "Case Unsolved" television series investigative reporter. Robin Morales, his producer and lover, mysteriously vanished three weeks prior in Harley-on-the-Hudson, New York. She was investigating a series of grisly murders and disappearances that had plagued the otherwise sleepy upstate town over the last few months.
