Tillman—was a popularizer of the gospel song. He had a knack for adopting material from eclectic sources and flowing it into the mix now known as southern gospel, becoming one of the formative influences on that genre. The youngest son of Baptist preacher James Lafayette Tillman and Mary (Davis) Tillman, for 14 years prior to 1887 he painted houses, sold sheet music for a company in Raleigh, North Carolina, and peddled Wizard Oil. In 1887 he focused his career more on his church and musical talents, singing first tenor in a church male quartet and establishing his own church-related music publishing company in Atlanta. "Old-Time Religion" In 1889 Tillman was assisting his father with a tent meeting in Lexington, South Carolina. The elder Tillman lent the tent to an African American group for a ...

''Complex'' is the second studio album by Australian art pop singer-songwriter Montaigne. It was released on 30 August 2019. Prior to release, Montaigne said the tracks on the album "all came together over a couple of years and each song pertains to a different period of my life." She said "It's basically a series of portraits of all of my insecurities, or the weird relationships I've been in, or neurotic feelings I've felt while being attracted to others. The album's like this veil behind which I stashed all these secrets I was keeping from myself." The album was supported by a 13-date national tour in November 2019. Reception Jeff Jenkins from Stack Magazine called it "one of the year's finest records." saying "She packs more thrills into that opening track, 'Change' than most pop artists deliver in their career." adding "Montaigne is a storyteller for our times – fearless, feisty, combative and yes, complex." All I Ever Wanted (album)
''All I Ever Wanted'' is the fourth studio album by American pop singer Kelly Clarkson, released on March 6, 2009, by RCA Records. After the controversies that surrounded her previous studio album, ''My December'' (2007), which was seen as much darker than her other two albums, Clarkson went on to record a more pop-oriented album. In order to do so, she enlisted her previous collaborators Max Martin, Dr. Luke, (whom she worked with on her 2004 second album, '' Breakaway''), Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello (whom she worked with on her 2003 debut album '' Thankful''), and new collaborators, Ryan Tedder, Howard Benson and Dre & Vidal. Originally entitled ''Masquerade'', its title was changed due to the similarities to those of other albums released at the same time, such as Pink's ''Funhouse'' (2008) and Britney Spears' ''Circus'' (2008). ''All I Ever Wanted'' was considered lighter and less angry than her previous effort, though it also features pop rock and pop punk-inspired song ...

Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen (soundtrack)
''Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen'' is the soundtrack album to the 2004 film of the same name. The soundtrack featured songs by various artists. The film's lead actress Lindsay Lohan recorded four songs written for the film, including "Drama Queen (That Girl)", that was promotionally released with an accompanying video on Disney in January of that year. Critical reception Michael Paoletta referred to the soundtrack as a "harmless musical companion" to the film, citing Lindsay Lohan's "Drama Queen (That Girl)" and "What Are You Waiting For?" in addition to Cherie's "Ready" as the album highlights. Paoletta was more critical of Lohan's "Don't Move On/Living for the City/Changes" and Atomic Kitten's rendition of " Ladies Night". Track listing # "Drama Queen (That Girl)" - Lindsay Lohan (Lohan, Pam Sheyne, Bill Wolfe) – 3:29 # " I'm Ready" - Cherie – 3:22 # " Ladies Night" - Atomic Kitten featuring Kool & the Gang – 3:06 # " Perfect" (acoustic version) - Simple Plan – ...
