''Ready for Love'' is a 1934 American romantic comedy film directed by Marion Gering and presented by Adolph Zukor for Paramount Pictures. It stars Richard Arlen, Ida Lupino, and Marjorie Rambeau. It is inspired by the play ''The Whipping'' by Eulalie Spence, based on the 1930 novel ''The Whipping'' by Roy Flanagan. Ready for Love is an American reality matchmaking competition television series that aired for three weeks on NBC in 2013 and six subsequent weeks on NBC.com. The series was scheduled to air Tuesdays from 9:00pm to 11:00pm Eastern and Pacific time, and premiered in that slot on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. It was hosted by Giuliana Rancic and Bill Rancic. The album's first single, "Ready For Love", was written by Alex Smith, Mark Taylor and Ayak Thiik and produced by André Brix Buchman from Valicon Company in Germany. "Ready for Love" is a song written by Mick Ralphs that was first released by his band Mott the Hoople on their 1972 album ''All the Young Dudes''. After Ralphs left Mott the Hoople to join Bad Company, a revamped version of the song was released on his new band's 1974 debut album, ''Bad Company''. Although not released as a single, the Bad Company version became a popular radio song, and has appeared on many of Bad Company's live and compilation albums.
