''Re Daniel Dawal Migel'' ( si, රෑ දනියෙල් දවල් මිගෙල්, italic=yes) is a 1998 Sri Lankan Sinhala comedy, action film directed by Roy de Silva and produced by Soma Edirisinghe for E.A.P Films. It is the first film of ''Re Daniel Dawal Migel'' film franchise. It stars comic duo Bandu Samarasinghe, and Tennyson Cooray in lead roles along with Ranjan Ramanayake, Sangeetha Weeraratne and Maduranga Chandimal. Music for the film is done by Somapala Rathnayake. The film became one of Sri Lanka's blockbuster movies with reaching more than 150 days in cinema theatres. It is the 894th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Chathurartha Devadithya Gardiyawasam Lindamulage Roy Aloysius Felix de Silva, popularly known as Roy de Silva (රෝයි ද සිල්වා; 30 August 1937 – 30 June 2018), was a Sri Lankan actor and film director in Sri Lankan cinema and former acting president of the Olympic Council of Asia. Denipitiya Vithanage Sumana Amarasinghe ( si, සුමනා අමරසිංහ; 21 February 1948 – 5 June 2022) was an actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television. Highly versatile actress from drama to comedy, she is usually known as the ''Sweet girl'' in Sinhala cinema. Apart from acting, she also worked as an assistant director, production manager, costume designer as well as a producer.
