Turkish ( , ), also referred to as Turkish of Turkey (''Türkiye Türkçesi''), is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages, with around 80 to 90 million speakers. Raşit Çetiner
Raşit Çetiner (born 10 September 1956) is a Turkish football coach and a former player of Galatasaray (1981–1988) and Fenerbahçe (1978–1981). He also played for Kocaelispor between 1974 and 1978. In 1978, when playing for Kocaelispor he became the top goal-scorer in TFF First League and awarded as the Player of the Year. In 1982 and 1985 he helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Cup. He retired in 1988 after sustaining a serious injury in a Galatasaray-Samsunspor match in 1986–87. He also managed the Turkey U21 national team for many years. He resigned when his team fell to a 2–1 defeat against Kazakhstan and he was succeeded by Reha Kapsal. Çetiner is married and has two sons named Erdim and Doruk. Raşit Öwezgeldiýewiç Meredow (, Cyrillic: Рашит Өвезгелдиевич Мередов; born 29 May 1960) is a Turkmen politician and diplomat who has served as Vice President of Turkmenistan since 2007. Biography Raşit Meredow was born in Ashgabat on 29 May 1960. His father Öwezgeldi was a Turkmen scientist and lawyer. His mother is an ethnic Azerbaijani. Meredow's relatives on his mother’s side live in the city of Mary, where she herself spent her childhood before moving to Ashgabat. Meredow’s sister and close relatives live in Mary, with his sister teaching at a local high school. In 1977, he entered the Moscow State University department of law. Raşit Pertev (born September 1958) is a development practitioner, politician and writer. He was appointed as the Secretary of the International Fund for Agricultural Development in October 2013. Born in Larnaca, Cyprus, Pertev is a graduate of Economics from the University of Cambridge and of Development Economics from the University of London. As Assistant Secretary General of the World Federation of Farmers, he led the international recognition and mainstreaming of farmers' organizations in development policies and institutions, from 1994 to 2000. He served in the World Bank as International Cooperative Specialist and as Senior Agriculture Economist, from 2000-2004 and 2010–2013, in financial restructuring and agricultural reform operations in Turkey, Croatia, Uganda and Burundi. Raşit Öztaş (born 1920, date of death unknown) was a Turkish athlete who competed in the men's 100 metres in the 1948 Summer Olympics. Raşit Öztaş was born in Nevşehir . His father Mahmut was a carpet and peanut merchant. Mahmut and his wife Atiye (daughter of Hüseyin Hüsnü Pasha) had emigrated to Turkey from Libya shortly after they married. The family settled in Adana and had three children. Mahmut died when Raşit was young and his mother died shortly thereafter. Raşit lived with his uncle for a time and then with a family friend. He finished primary school and started secondary school in Adana, then completed his high school education in Eskiseheir where his brother lived. He had always been interested in sport and became a runner in high school. He began to travel to tournaments with the Turkish athletic team. Rashit
Rashit is a Turkish punk rock band founded in Istanbul in 1993 by Tolga Özbey (guitar), Adem Kurt (vocals), Murat Yeşil (bass) and Gökhan Tunçişler (drums). They are considered to be the first major local representative of punk rock and inspiring several local punk bands during the late 1990s. In the 16 years, Tolga being the only constant member, Rashit has had numerous lineup changes. To date, Rashit has released three studio albums and a couple of LPs ''Kadiköy'den Hareketler'', ''Taksim'de Bangyjumping ''. Their 1999 album '' Telaşa Mahal Yok'' has been regarded by some critics as the milestone for Turkish punk rock genre.
