Razzle (musician)
Nicholas Charles Dingley (2 December 1960 – 8 December 1984), better known by his stage name Razzle, was the English drummer of Finnish glam rock band Hanoi Rocks from 1982 until his death. Early years Born in Royal Leamington Spa, England, to a young single mother, Patricia Ingram, who decided to give up her child for adoption. He was adopted by Henry and Irene Dingley. The family's only child, he grew up in Coventry, after which the family moved to the village of Binstead, Isle of Wight. Prior to joining Hanoi Rocks, Razzle started playing in local Binstead small ensembles, one of which was called Thin Red Line. In 1980 he moved to London, where he played in several punk rock bands. Also, he joined Demon Preacher (featuring Nik Wade, later of Alien Sex Fiend), The Fuck Pigs and The Dark, with whom he released one EP ''The Living End Live'' in 1981, which was recorded at the band's last gig in London's 100 Club which, in his own words, was heavy punk, almost heavy metal. Royal Leamington Spa
Royal Leamington Spa, commonly known as Leamington Spa or simply Leamington (), is a spa town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England. Originally a small village called Leamington Priors, it grew into a spa town in the 18th century following the popularisation of its water which was reputed to have medicinal qualities. In the 19th century, the town experienced one of the most rapid expansions in England. It is named after the River Leam, which flows through the town. Vince Neil
Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961), best known by the stage name Vince Neil, is an American musician. He is the lead vocalist and occasional rhythm guitarist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, which he fronted from their 1981 formation until his departure in 1992. Neil reunited with the band in 1996 and continued with them until the band's 2015 retirement, and again from the band's 2018 reunion onwards. Outside of Mötley Crüe, Neil has also released three studio albums as a solo artist – the most recent of which, ''Tattoos & Tequila'', was released in 2010. The Nottingham Tapes
''The Nottingham Tapes'' is the second concert video released by the Finnish glam punk band Hanoi Rocks. The first video released by the band was ''All Those Wasted Years'', recorded at the Marquee Club in London. As stated in the title, this video was shot at the Nottingham Palais in Nottingham England. The video was shot on 23 April 1984, almost eight months before the death of the band's drummer Razzle. The video features songs that would later be released on the band's next album, ''Two Steps from the Move'', such as " Underwater World", "Don't You Ever Leave Me" and the cover of "Up Around the Bend". During the performance of the last song of the set, the cover of the Ramones "Blitzkrieg Bop", vocalist Michael Monroe and Razzle switched places, so Razzle sang and Monroe played drums. ''All Those Wasted Years'' is the first live album by the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks, released in 1984. In initial pressing of this album's name was misspelled as "All Those Waisted Years", while correct spelling has been used with later releases of this album, but the original release with the misspelled title is very rare. The album was recorded in December 1983 at The Marquee Club in London, about a year before the death of Hanoi Rocks' drummer Razzle. The live engineer was Mick Staplehurst, the longtime FOH Engineer for Hanoi Rocks. A video of the same shows recorded for the album was released at the same time, but with a different track listing. For example, the video featured a cover of the Ramones song "Blitzkrieg Bop" (which had Razzle on vocals and Michael Monroe on drums). ''Two Steps from the Move'' is the fifth studio album by the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks, released in 1984. This is their last album to feature drummer Razzle, before he was killed in a car accident on 8 December 1984. Album information Before this album, all of Hanoi Rocks' albums were released on Lick Records and Johanna Kustannus, but this was the band's first album on a major label, CBS. Originally the album was supposed to be called ''Silver Missiles And Nightingales'', but the name was changed at the last minute. Andy McCoy and Nasty Suicide later used the name as the name of their album, when they worked under the moniker " The Suicide Twins". The album's producer, Bob Ezrin had previously worked with big-name artists like Pink Floyd, Kiss and Alice Cooper, which was one of the main reasons Hanoi Rocks' wanted him to produce the album. ''Back to Mystery City'' is the fourth studio album by the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks, released in 1983. It was produced by ex-Mott the Hoople members Dale Griffin and Pete "Overend" Watts, and was the first with Razzle on drums. Besides Hanoi Rocks, the album also features keyboardist Morgan Fisher, and Miriam Stockley on backing vocals, who had also sung with Pink Floyd. Song information ;"Strange Boys Play Weird Openings" An acoustic intro that Andy McCoy came-up with in the studio. ;"Malibu Beach Nightmare" McCoy wrote song at home while smoking hashish. ''The Dirt'' is a 2019 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Jeff Tremaine from a screenplay by Rich Wilkes and Amanda Adelson, about heavy metal/glam metal band Mötley Crüe. The film stars Douglas Booth, Colson Baker, Daniel Webber and Iwan Rheon. Talks of a Mötley Crüe biopic began as early as 2006, when Paramount Pictures and MTV Films purchased the rights to the book '' The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band'' by the band and Neil Strauss; however, the project then languished in development hell for over a decade, going through numerous directors and cast members before Netflix purchased the rights in March 2017. Max Milner is a singer and actor from London, England. He had a #63 hit on the UK Singles Chart with a cover version of Free Fallin' by Tom Petty. At age twenty-one, Milner auditioned for ''The Voice UK'', appearing on the first of 4 audition shows. He auditioned with a mash-up between The Beatles' "Come Together" and "Lose Yourself" by Eminem. Holy Cross Church, Binstead is a parish church in the Church of England located in Binstead, Isle of Wight. History The 11th and 13th century church is located between the village and the coast. Its location some distance from the modern centre of Binstead probably indicates a medieval village associated with the quarries in the church's vicinity. Most of the chancel is of herringbone masonry. The original nave was replaced in 1844 and enlarged in 1875 by the addition of the north aisle.
