Razom
Razom (Ukrainian: Разом) is a non-profit Ukrainian-American human rights organization established in 2014 with the mission to unlock the potential of Ukraine. Razom means "together" in Ukrainian. Its main goals are increasing civic engagement within Ukraine and engaging the voices of Ukrainians around the world. The organization uses social networking tools to reunite the global network of individuals in coordinating effort supporting shared goals. In 2022, Razom delivered $62M worth of aid to Ukraine. Nova Ukraine
Nova Ukraine is a US-based 501(c)(3) organization (nonprofit) dedicated to supporting Ukraine with humanitarian aid and strengthening civil society in Ukraine. Nova Ukraine is a predominantly volunteer organization with no budget allocated for director salaries. Since February 2022, Nova Ukraine has rapidly increased its humanitarian aid operations in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. By June 2023, Nova Ukraine volunteers delivered $77M worth of aid to Ukraine. The organization was founded in March, 2014 in the aftermath of Euromaidan as an extension of the Maidan SF movement. Annexation Of Crimea By The Russian Federation
In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. This event took place in the aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity and is part of the wider Russo-Ukrainian War. The events in Kyiv that ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych on 22 February 2014 sparked pro-Russian demonstrations as of 23 February against the (prospected) new Ukrainian government. At the same time Russian president Vladimir Putin discussed Ukrainian events with security service chiefs remarking that "we must start working on returning Crimea to Russia". Budapest Memorandum
The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances comprises three substantially identical political agreements signed at the OSCE conference in Budapest, Hungary, on 5 December 1994, to provide security assurances by its signatories relating to the accession of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). The three memoranda were originally signed by three nuclear powers: the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States. China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents. The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Convention Center with US Ambassador Donald M. Come Back Alive ( uk, Повернись живим) is a foundation that provides support to service members in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The foundation purchases arms and equipment to help outfit Ukrainian servicemembers. It also provides additional training to soldiers in areas such as marksmanship, first aid, artillery, and drone operation. Between May 2014 through June 2022, the foundation raised over $100 million. United24 () is a Ukrainian government-run platform launched on 5 May 2022 to raise money for Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian War.
