Raymond Woodie
Raymond Woodie Jr. (born November 2, 1973) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Bethune–Cookman University, a position he has held since 2023. He played college football for Bethune–Cookman before playing professionally for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He also coached for Bayshore High School, Palmetto High School, Western Kentucky, South Florida, Oregon, Florida State, and Florida Atlantic. Playing career Woodie grew up in Palmetto, Florida, and played high school football for Palmetto High School. College career Woodie played college football for Bethune–Cookman. With the Wildcats he played as a linebacker and safety. He earned All-MEAC honors and all Division I-AA honors in his junior and senior seasons. The Bethune–Cookman Wildcats football team represents Bethune–Cookman University in the sport of college football. The Wildcats compete in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Starting with the fall 2021 season, they compete in the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), after having been members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) since 1979. Edward Earl Reed Jr. (born September 11, 1978) is an American former football safety in the National Football League (NFL), spending the majority of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he played on Miami's 2001 national championship team and was twice named a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft and played 11 seasons with them before playing with the Houston Texans and New York Jets in 2013.
