Raymond Soubie
Raymond Soubie (born 23 October 1940) is a former social affairs advisor to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Biography Raymond Soubie is a graduate of the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux (class of 1960) and the École nationale d'administration ( class of 1964). In 1969, he worked as an advisor to Minister of Labour Joseph Fontanet. He then worked for Jacques Chirac and Raymond Barre. He also served as an advisor to Prime Minister Pierre Bérégovoy, Édouard Balladur and Alain Juppé. In 1981, he became the Director of Liaisons Sociales, the second biggest press firm in France. Talence (, ; oc, Talança, ; ca, Talença, ) is a commune in the Gironde department, administrative region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. Alain Juppé
Alain Marie Juppé (; born 15 August 1945) is a French politician. A member of The Republicans, he was Prime Minister of France from 1995 to 1997 under President Jacques Chirac, during which period he faced major strikes that paralysed the country and became very unpopular. He left office after the victory of the left in the snap 1997 legislative elections. He had previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995, and as Minister of the Budget and Spokesman for the Government from 1986 to 1988. He was president of the political party Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) from 2002 to 2004 and mayor of Bordeaux from 1995 to 2004. Édouard Balladur (; born 2 May 1929) is a French politician who served as Prime Minister of France under François Mitterrand from 29 March 1993 to 17 May 1995. He unsuccessfully ran for president in the 1995 French presidential election, coming in third place. Biography Balladur was born in Izmir, Turkey, to an ethnic Armenian family with five children and longstanding ties to France. His family emigrated to Marseille in the mid-to-late 1930s.
