Ray King (artist)
Ray King (born July 4, 1950) is an artist who is best known for his light responsive sculptures. Early life King was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 4, 1950. In his early twenties, he apprenticed with a stained glass artist. In 1975, he received a Louis C. Tiffany Fellowship to travel to England and study with master stained glass artist, Patrick Reyntiens at the Burleighfield House Trust in Buckinghamshire. When King returned, he became involved with the craft art movement of the mid-1970s. His work has been exhibited internationally since 1976, in the United States, Europe and Asia. Major permanent installations of his work have been commissioned throughout the United States and abroad. All are site-specific and inspired by the surrounding space and landscape to create a unique sense of place and identity. Raymond Keith King (born January 15, 1974) is a retired Major League Baseball relief pitcher. He bats and throws left-handed. High school and college years King attended Ripley High School (Ripley, Tennessee, Ripley, Tennessee) and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. In baseball, he won All-America honors as a senior. The lefty is also an alumnus of Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee. Raymond "Ray" King (born 1964) is an American entrepreneur and co-founder of multiple companies including AboutUs.org and Top Level Design. Early life, education and career King was born in 1964 to Kenneth, an architect, and Yien-Koo. He graduated from The Bronx High School of Science in June 1982. He began his career in technology as a teenager establishing The Computer Workshop, with 17 of his friends, which offered computing classes at his apartment and Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal. Ray King (footballer)
Raymond King (15 August 1924 – 19 July 2014) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He made 278 league and cup appearances in an 11-year career in the Football League. He was the younger brother of Frank and George King. He began his career with Newcastle United, but spent World War II in the army, and also had to contend with a catalogue of injuries. After the war, he played for Leyton Orient, before injury again forced him out of the professional game. He spent time with Ashington, before making another comeback in May 1949, this time with Port Vale. He was in goal for the "Valiants" in one of the club's brightest periods, helping them to win the Third Division North title and to reach the FA Cup semi-finals in 1953–54. He won one cap for the England "B" team, and later went into management with non-League clubs Boston United, Poole Town and Sittingbourne. Vibert Edmund Cornwall (born October 1938) is a Vincentian jazz singer known professionally as Ray King. He is the brother of Reginald Cornwall MBE. He is known for being a formative influence on the 2-Tone movement, originated in Coventry, England during the late late 1970s and early 1980s.
