Ray Davis (American Football)
Re'Mahn Walter Zhamar Jamar Davis (born November 11, 1999) is an American football running back for the Kentucky Wildcats. He previously played for the Temple Owls and Vanderbilt Commodores. Early life and high school Davis was born on November 11, 1999, in San Francisco, California, and has 14 siblings. He spent time in foster care as a child due to both his parents being incarcerated. Davis attended Trinity-Pawling School in New York before spending a post-graduate year at Blair Academy due to academic grades. At Blair, he ran for 1,698 yards and 35 touchdowns while playing eight games. He finished his high school career with 4,815 yards and 48 touchdowns scored on offense while having posted 80 tackles and six interceptions on defense. Temple Owls Football
The Temple Owls football team represents Temple University in the sport of college football. The Temple Owls compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as a member of the American Athletic Conference (The American). They play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Owls were a football-only member of the Big East Conference from 1991 until 2004. Temple was expelled from the league due to a lack of commitment to the football program from university officials. Temple played the 2005 and 2006 seasons as an independent before playing in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) from 2007 to 2011. 2019 Temple Owls Football Team
The 2019 Temple Owls football team represented Temple University during the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Owls were led by first-year head coach Rod Carey and played their home games at Lincoln Financial Field, competing as a member of the East Division of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). The NCAA transfer portal is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) application, database, and compliance tool launched on October 15, 2018, to manage and facilitate the process for student athletes seeking to transfer between member institutions. The transfer portal permits student athletes to place their name in an online database declaring their desire to transfer. Athletes enter the portal by informing their current school of their desire to transfer; the school then has two business days to enter the athlete's name in the database.
